I am a late forties kayak racer. My goal is to compete at the World Masters Games in Turin, Italy in 2013. I will be racing in ICF sprint kayaks. This blog will be my training diary for the next 4 yrs. I use a variety of running, weights, and cross training to hopefully become a better kayaker.

Good Hard Run and Ice Skate
Today's run was at a faster pace. I need top work on bringing the race pace up. so when I go to do the Sun Run with a jog / walk race plan, I need to compensate for the walking part, so I can achieve my race goal of a sub 50 min. 10K. Afterwards I did a 30 min. ice skating session. I was tired so it was a short one.
